Our founder Emily recently discussed the importance of creating a network and support system around you at the LCF panel discussion for graduates.
LCF is made up of every aspect of the fashion industry and so staying in contact and making those connections with people both when you’re at uni and when you graduate is so important, you don’t know when you might need them. Networking events and events in general which you can attend, and I recommend you do. You may never know who you might meet or what you might learn.
As a result of growing your network you are creating a support system of people around you who have been through or are going through the same thing.
Leaving university and specifically starting a company can be a daunting and lonely place, so creating a network of people who have experienced this allows you to ask those questions and gain insights into avenues you can follow.
