Behind the Fabrics

Within each collection the selection of fabrics we use takes a lot of time and deliberation, we want them to be perfect and flow throughout the collection but also to have minimal impact upon the environment.

We often use ribbed organic cotton in our collections as it has a beautiful fit and form on the body, the off cuts are made into the accessories including face coverings which have been popular due the unique ribbed material. Organic cotton reduces environmental footprint as no toxic chemicals are used in the growing process, which means there is no damage to the soil and less impact upon the air. Organic cotton uses 88% less water and 62% less energy, along with enhancing a fair price and promotes a better livelihood for workers and farmers.
Tencel™ is derived from the renewable raw material wood, the certified fibres are manufactured in environmentally conscious conditions. The fibres are certified as compostable and biodegradable. The tencel™ we source in from Lebenskleidung, it's a beautifully soft and light fabric.
In the new collection launching on the 29th we have introduced a new  tencel™ and cupro blend. This fabric is completely new to us, cupro is an eco-friendly alternative to silk. It is made from cotton byproducts which in itself is reducing waste and the impact on the environment.
We hope you love our fabrics as much as we do!!
