What to Wear Now. From garden parties to weekend escapes, our August Edit is your effortless answer to dressing now!
Here at BB, we’re looking forward to August and all the events and activities that come with the height of summer, whether you’re frequenting garden parties or going on weekend escapes, we have something for you! Although knitwear can often be associated with cooler seasons, the ways we are styling our Cotswold Wool this August showcases that BB knitwear is perfect for transitional staples in your wardrobe, striking the balance between comfort, elegance and elevated simplicity.
We recently launched our new Cotswold Wool Cardigan, a timeless and versatile piece that you can layer and ensures you’re the star of the show! The detailing of the cardigan created by skilled artisans include balloon sleeves and a button up front with unique hand picked buttons to add elements of intricacy, so you can keep warm during chilly summer nights whilst also looking sophisticated.
One of our favourite ways to style the Cotswold Wool Cardigan throughout August is with some trusted denim for a casual, yet dressed up look; here at BB we pair the cardi with our much loved Re-worked Denim Jeans or Skirt. As our cardigan has golden detailing, we recommend accessorising with gold to bring the look together, whether it’s a gold earring or chunky cuff, this can be a beautiful and charming way to style our knitwear. Alternatively, another way to style our cardi this August is with a summer dress and heels for the perfect garden party look. The cover up offers warmth and grace, whilst maintaining the light and playful colours often associated with summer style!
Other layering opportunities we’re obsessed with this August are with our BB Cotswold Sweater Vests. We love styling these over cotton base layers with linen trousers and our BB tote bags slung over our shoulders perfect for the beach; or with oversized shirts, shorts, and a BB cap. Pair this with sandals or trainers and you have the ultimate chic weekend escape, city stroll or coastal get away look, all whilst investing in slow fashion and sustainability!
