A Weekend at Soho Farmhouse: Knits, Community; the Beauty of the Cotswolds | Beatrice Bayliss

A Weekend at Soho Farmhouse: Knits, Community; the Beauty of the Cotswolds

This past weekend, Beatrice Bayliss had the pleasure of joining the Christmas market at Soho Farmhouse. Set within 100 acres of stunning Oxfordshire countryside, Soho Farmhouse is known for its rustic charm, cosy luxury and warm community spirit. Whether you're arriving for a relaxed retreat, a countryside escape, or its famed seasonal markets, the farmhouse always feels like stepping into a world where creativity and slow living meet.

The Magic of the Farmhouse Markets

The weekend market brought together talented makers, small businesses and curious guests ready to explore something new. Among fireside coffees, misty morning walks and the gentle hum of winter chatter, the atmosphere was alive with festive energy and a love for thoughtful craftsmanship.

For BB, it was the perfect setting. Our pieces are deeply inspired by the natural landscapes and textures of the countryside, and seeing them nestled within the relaxed beauty of Soho Farmhouse felt like a match made in heaven.

A Busy, Beautiful Two Days

From start to finish, the stall buzzed with activity. Guests wandered through, drawn to the soft, comforting tones of our knitwear and the unique charm of our knitted accessories. It was two days filled with conversation, connection and the joy of sharing the BB story.

Adding a Little BB to Their Lives

One of our favourite parts of events like this is seeing customers walk away with something that becomes part of their everyday life, a cosy scarf for countryside walks, a knitted vest for layering through the seasons, or the simple joy of taking home a piece made slowly and sustainably.

There’s something meaningful about placing BB knitwear into the hands of people who truly appreciate craftsmanship, texture and mindful design. Whether they were visiting just for the weekend or call the Cotswolds home, each person brought their own story.

A Heartfelt Thank You

To everyone who stopped by the stall, chatted, supported or simply admired the pieces: thank you. Your warmth and enthusiasm made the weekend unforgettable. And to Soho Farmhouse for championing independent businesses and celebrating craftsmanship in the heart of the countryside, we’re already looking forward to the next one.
