Beatrice Bayliss is a sustainable, ethical and female-led clothing brand based in London.
With fast fashion being one of the most polluting industries in the world, it's no wonder that more and more people are looking for sustainable alternatives. Did you know that the fashion industry is responsible for producing more greenhouse gases than international flights and maritime shipping combined? Or that it takes up to 700 gallons of water to produce a single cotton t-shirt? That’s enough drinking water for a person to live on for 2.5 years!
At Beatrice Bayliss, we're on a mission to change that. As a British born-and-bred slow fashion brand, we're leading the charge in the sustainable fashion movement. In the last decade, the number of slow fashion enthusiasts has grown exponentially, and we're proud to be at the forefront of this trend.
We believe that sustainable clothing should be accessible to everyone, without sacrificing style or quality. Our price point means that sustainable fashion is within reach for everyone, and our commitment to quality ensures that our clothing lasts a lifetime and never goes out of style.
- We work directly with our fabric suppliers to ensure transparency and sustainability in the supply chain
- We use a combination of sustainable and organic fabrics (tencel, cupro, recycled plastic)
- We produce our clothing in small batches in the UK, to ensure minimal dead stock
- We adhere to a zero-waste policy; all fabric offcuts are repurposed into accessories
A note from the founder;
'I'm Emily, the founder and CEO of Beatrice Bayliss. My inspiration to create BB came from my own frustration trying to purchase sustainable clothing on a student budget. When I finished my degree at University of the Arts London, I decided to combine my two loves into a brand: the environment and fearless, daring fashion.’
But it's not just about the environment, it's about people too. We're committed to ethical production and fair wages for all people involved in our supply chain.
